As a labor and delivery nurse myself, I couldn’t have dreamed up a better person to guide and care for me through my own labor process. I was respected, listened to, advocated for and valued as a birthing person. I would choose her 100 times over to be my nurse or to educate me on anything birth related. She is a truly special person and I feel lucky to have had her on my team.

Kelly was with me for the birth of three of my four kids. Now looking back I wish I had known her for my first. What a difference that would have made! I had the support of family for my pregnancies and births, but their nerves and mine were not a good mix for a calming support like I needed. And I thank God Kelly was just that for me. Talking me through and just being there during such a vulnerable time. I cannot describe what it felt like to have that to lean on. It truly gave such comfort to me. She was an advocate for me, saw things and did things in support of me that I didn’t need to worry about. It was great to have someone else shoulder these worries.

Taking Kelly‘s class brought light and awareness in a process that’s nerve-racking and unknown to first-time parents. Having a detailed overview of childbirth was important, but the icing on the cake was the ability to follow up during the pregnancy with the many questions we had regarding our specific situation. It was priceless. Thanks so much, Kelly!

Nurse Phillip's health class is an absolute God send. In a world where there is so much confusion and wrong information, this class provides clarity and a godly perspective on the subject matter. She presents information in a God-honoring, non-threatening, and age-appropriate way that informs students without bringing in the modern trends of the culture. She carefully listens to students' questions and gently provides the information while always bringing it back to God and His design. Nurse Phillips and this health class are a true blessing.
